Responsibilities:
Collaborate effectively with the Estimating team throughout the Preconstruction Phase.
Confidently read and interpret construction plans and specifications.
Mentor junior Project Management staff in daily project management duties.
Establish and maintain strong relationships with Owners, Architects, Engineers, and Subcontractors to secure future project opportunities.
Oversee Subcontractor and Vendor procurement processes, including buyout completion and contract management.
Assist in creatively resolving drawing interpretation issues and conflicts.
Manage the team handling Submittals, RFIs, Change Orders, Owner Billings, and Monthly Reports.
Ensure timely Owner Billings by verifying work-in-place quantities and billings.
Accurately forecast total estimated project costs with regular cost projections.
Create and monitor project schedules while providing regular progress updates.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field is preferred; relevant certifications or equivalent experience will also be considered.
Minimum of 5 years' experience in managing diverse Commercial Construction projects.
Strong knowledge of building systems and construction methods.
Excellent communication skills for professional engagement with team members, industry partners, and clients.
Demonstrated financial management skills to manage all aspects of a project independently.
Proven leadership ability to work effectively both collaboratively and independently.
