Job Duties:
Plan, schedule, or coordinate construction project activities to meet deadlines.
Management of all project team members (senior project engineer, project engineers, superintendents, and field office coordinator). Mentor, develop and train project engineers for fast-paced growth. Maintain detailed/hands-on knowledge of project scope. Cost control/billings/collections/change management/cash flows/monthly status reports. Act as key point of contact with owner and architect. Challenge and support jobsite and self-perform work team. Accountable for project completion and financials, critical success factors, and customer satisfaction results. Coordinate and manage the execution of planning and scheduling of projects. Create and negotiate owner/trade partner contracts in collaboration with the project executive, preconstruction team, and risk management team. Assist with the project quality plan development, review, and monitoring of the implementation of DPR's quality practices per the Best Builder Framework (BBF). Review high level schedules and create work plans in order to capture overall project costs and understand project duration at the conceptual phase. Forecast cost impacts based on a wholistic view of the project (e.g., schedule impacts yield cost impacts); create and execute recovery plans, as needed. Assist the owner with managing budget and costs understanding the whole picture and raise flags when issues arise.
Must be available to work on projects at various, unanticipated sites within commuting distance of DPR's Newport Beach, California office.
Minimum education/experience requirements: Master's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field and 2 years of experience in the job offered or in a construction engineer-related occupation.

Skill Requirements:
Position requires at least 2 years of experience in each of the following skills:
- Develop Monthly Status Reports (MSRs), create and provide breakdowns on cash flow, and project financial overview utilizing CMiC Field, Microsoft PowerPoint & Excel, and eBuilder.
- Create and maintain current Procurement Log with Smartsheet tool to identify potential schedule risks.
- Set-up and use Resource Management Tool to forecast team's work hours, verify production rates, and material procurement costs falling within project budget.
- Prepare, negotiate, and review contracts for project scope work by utilizing specific DPR contract templates.
- Generate Request for Information (RFI) for additional clarification, issue Submittals to document product to the design team, and implement QA/QC plan using Autodesk Construction (ACC) Build.
- Identify clashes between various building system models by navigating through BIM 360 model and coordinate with design team to address clashes.
- Develop Distinguished Features of Works (DFOWs) utilizing Bluebeam Revu to help install in the field by craft, inspectors, and overall project team.
Position also requires at least some experience in each of the following skills:
- Create a building point load model and run structural analysis using STAAD.Pro software.
- Assign all building loads and perform load analysis on a 3D building model using ETABS.
