Project Manager - Commercial Construction (Connecticut Focus)

This role involves managing projects across transportation, academic, municipal, and public building sectors. Experience in sewer, water, wastewater projects, and occasional healthcare fit-outs is desirable, though not required in every sector.

Compensation: Based on experience, up to $150K.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead all phases of construction projects, from planning to completion, in Hartford and New Haven.
- Develop project schedules, budgets, and plans to meet client objectives.
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers to keep projects on time and within budget.
- Track daily progress, troubleshoot issues, and ensure projects stay on schedule.
- Conduct site inspections to ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
- Manage project documentation, including contracts, change orders, and progress updates.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and provide regular project updates.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in construction management or civil engineering is a plus.
- 4+ years of experience managing large commercial construction projects.
- Background in Connecticut's commercial construction sectors, particularly in transportation, transit, academic, municipal/public buildings, and/or sewer/water/wastewater projects.
- Proven track record of successful project completion in the Connecticut market, with strong knowledge of local regulations and industry standards.
- Primary experience in residential construction (homebuilding, remodeling, high-end condos) is not a fit for this role.
