JOB SUMMARY

The Project Manager serves as the primary point of contact for a single large project or multiple smaller projects. They are responsible for overseeing all aspects of project execution, including team performance, cost control, quality assurance, scheduling, and safety. The Project Manager is also responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, architects, consultants, and subcontractors.All daily activities are carried out in alignment with the companys mission, vision, and core values.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

  • Authorized to work in the United States without the need for current or future visa sponsorship.
  • 5 years experience as a commercial construction Project Manager.
  • Bachelors degree in construction management, construction science, engineering, architecture, or related field from an accredited university.
  • Able to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time and teams efficiently
  • Experienced in leading multiple projects and managing strict budgets
  • Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and goal-driven
  • Skilled in problem-solving, decision-making, and strategic thinking
  • In-depth knowledge of the construction industry
  • Self-motivated, independent, and proactive
  • Computer Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office and Microsoft Project; experience with project management software preferred.


JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide overall leadership to the entire project team, working collaboratively with the Superintendent and key stakeholders to develop and implement the project plan, means and methods, and maintain necessary records.
  • Manage all aspects of the project including profitability, schedule adherence, conformance to specifications and drawings, and meeting or exceeding client expectations.
  • Understand and administer contract and subcontract agreements, including leading contract negotiations, processing and assessing change orders, and ensuring risk evaluation and compliance.
  • Establish, communicate, and manage the overall project schedule; develop recovery strategies when schedules or budgets are at risk.
  • Manage the full project lifecycle including estimating, buyout, budgeting, scheduling, and close-out, ensuring accurate archiving, completion of deficiencies, and warranty work.
  • Oversee and participate in project estimating from start to finish: reviewing specifications, sending RFQs, performing take-offs, compiling subcontractor quotes, and writing estimates.
  • Control project costs using industry best practices; monitor financial performance and provide reporting; identify opportunities for value engineering, cost reduction, increased profitability, and continuous process improvement.
  • Lead and manage the Quality Assurance/Quality Control program.
  • Develop and mentor assigned staff to maximize job performance and career growth.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with architects, subcontractors, clients, consultants, vendors, public agencies, and internal team members.
  • Maintain a high level of professionalism aligned with CPPIs mission, vision, and values.
  • Stay current on industry trends and marketplace conditions to maintain competitive advantage.
  • Encourage a collaborative team environment, fostering input from all levels of the project team.
  • Performs additional duties as assigned to support project success.
