Project Manager - Commercial Construction
Salary: $85,000 - $130,000, depending on experience and qualifications.

Job Summary:
The Project Manager is responsible for the full lifecycle management of construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality and customer satisfaction. This role involves leading all aspects of pre-construction planning, cost management, scheduling, subcontractor coordination, quality control, and safety compliance.
Job Responsibilities:
Full project responsibility across all construction and management functions
Oversee pre-construction services including estimating, value engineering, bidding, and scheduling
Develop and update project schedules using bar chart and CPM methodologies
Ensure quality control by monitoring adherence to specifications, plans, and codes
Track project costs, update monthly cost reports, and forecast cash flow projections
Negotiate, award, and administer subcontracts and purchase orders
Prepare and submit progress payment invoices and follow up for timely payments
Manage change orders, including estimating, approvals, and documentation
Maintain complete project documentation including shop drawings, submittals, and correspondence
Lead project communication efforts including meetings, agendas, reports, and coordination
Ensure smooth project startup and closeout
Uphold professional relationships and company image
Enforce strict adherence to jobsite safety and OSHA compliance
Maintain open communication with internal departments and stakeholders Qualifications:
Construction Experience: 5+ years in the construction industry
2-3 years in a dedicated project management role
Experience with commercial, industrial, or infrastructure projects Project Management Expertise: Proven success managing all phases of construction projects
Familiarity with Microsoft Project, Procore, Primavera P6, or similar software Budget and Financial Management: Experience in project cost estimation, budget tracking, and change order management Team Leadership and Collaboration: Strong leadership skills with experience managing cross-functional teams Regulatory and Safety Compliance: Thorough understanding of OSHA regulations and building codes Problem Solving and Decision-Making: Strong analytical and decision-making skills for on-site issue resolution Stakeholder Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Experience dealing with clients, architects, engineers, and regulatory agencies Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in CAD, BIM, AutoCAD, or other construction design and planning software Education and Certifications (Preferred): Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field
PMP, CCM, or OSHA 30 certification preferred
