Visit our website at https://inproduction.net/welcome/ Position: Project Manager The Project Manager is responsible for managing project timelines and budgets, creating and implementing technical solutions and construction methods based on design concepts and visual information. This role requires multitasking, attention to detail, and high organization skills. Hands-on experience in scheduling, communication, and general construction practices is essential. The position involves local (40-50%) and out-of-market (15-20%) travel, reporting to the Director of Operations & Vice President. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Lead onsite project management for all Greater NY-based jobs, approximately 40-50% out of office. Complete daily progress reports, including crew attendance, photos, and completion metrics. Conduct site visits as needed for Greater NY area jobs. Travel out of market as needed, with expenses covered. Inspect installations with clients, building department, fire marshals, etc., and obtain sign-offs. Prepare for events at Hauppauge warehouse, including tools, hardware, and materials. Assist with local project planning, scheduling, and logistics. Ensure safety orientations and PPE compliance for crews. Manage project-specific purchasing and procurement. Assist with creation and verification of BOLs for inbound and outbound materials. Develop project cost estimates with the sales team. Coordinate with CAD department and project foreman on technical drawings. Communicate regularly with management and warehouse team to align schedules. Collaborate with department heads and subcontractors to meet budget and schedule goals. Maintain client communication during build and strike phases. Manage scope changes and report budget/staffing implications. Track and report project costs, and conduct post-project reviews. Qualifications: Experience in scaffolding, construction, technical theater, or scenic fabrication is a plus but not required. Proficiency with MS Office & Teams. Strong problem-solving skills. Ability to prioritize and make decisions for short- and long-term project objectives. Excellent relationship skills and team-oriented mindset. Flexible schedule availability. Valid driver’s license. Availability to report to Hauppauge office on non-site days. Bilingual skills are a plus but not required. Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent Pay Scale: Salaried, Non-Exempt, $60,000-75,000 (negotiable based on experience).
