Job Details
The Project Manager (PM) is the primary point of contact for Owners, Developers, OPMs, Architects, Engineers, and Subcontractors. Responsible for managing the full lifecycle of complex construction projects—particularly in academic, healthcare, life sciences, institutional, energy, corporate, and federal markets—the PM ensures alignment with cost, schedule, safety, and quality goals while maintaining high standards of client satisfaction and team leadership.
Essential Functions:
* Lead proposal efforts, preconstruction activities, and procurement strategy alongside estimating and purchasing teams * Manage project teams, staffing, and schedule planning throughout project lifecycle * Facilitate and document weekly OAC and subcontractor meetings; maintain clear communication with all stakeholders * Oversee financial performance: track budget, forecast costs, manage requisitions, and process change orders * Ensure strict adherence to safety, quality, and compliance standards across all phases * Provide leadership on project controls, including RFIs, submittals, and material delivery tracking * Coordinate closely with field teams to align daily operations with overall project objectives * Represent the company to clients and partners in high-level communications and reporting * Mentor and evaluate staff, supporting professional development and succession planning * Lead project closeout activities including punch list resolution and submission of closeout documentation * Support business development through networking, proposal development, and interview participation * Monitor subcontractor performance and ensure contract and insurance compliance * Partner with Project Scheduler and Superintendent to maintain and update master schedule * Drive issue resolution on-site, particularly for technical scopes and high-stakes work environments (e.g., labs, hospitals, data centers)
