Job Description
- Lead and manage public construction projects from pre-construction through closeout.
- Coordinate with OGS, DASNY, and other public agencies to ensure project alignment with agency goals and compliance requirements.
- Oversee project scheduling, procurement, logistics, and subcontractor coordination.
- Manage project documentation including submittals, RFIs, permits, and compliance reports.
- Monitor budgets, change orders, and financial performance.
- Conduct regular site visits and project health assessments.
- Facilitate project meetings with stakeholders, consultants, and contractors.
- Ensure adherence to safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
- Maintain strong communication with agency representatives and internal teams.

The Successful Applicant
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in construction project management, preferably with public sector projects.
- Prior experience with DASNY, OGS, SCA, DEP, or similar agencies is highly preferred.
- Familiarity with Job Order Contracting (JOC) and public procurement processes.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera, Procore).
- Ability to manage multiple projects across various locations.
- PMP or CCM certification
- Experience with LEED or sustainable building practices.
- Knowledge of New York State building codes and public construction regulations.
