Key responsibilities for a Project Manager - Design Build Construction include:
- Take full ownership of building and construction projects from pre-construction to closeout, ensuring quality, schedule, and budget goals are met or exceeded.
- Manage estimating, bidding, value engineering, and scheduling in collaboration with Superintendents.
- Maintain clear communication with clients and project teams regarding schedule changes and progress.
- Oversee subcontractor selection, scope control, and timely payment processing with Accounting.
- Handle change order management and client communication.
- Lead project kick-offs and enforce safety standards on-site.
- Track Los Angeles project financials and overall progress.
- Prepare preliminary pricing estimates and manage bidding processes.
- Host OAC meetings and coordinate with subcontractors and vendors.
- Train, develop, and conduct performance reviews for support staff.
An ideal candidate for the Project Manager - Design Build Construction position will have:
- 5 to 10 years of progressive experience in Project Management, preferably in Los Angeles
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or a related field.
- CPR and First Aid certified.
- OSHA 10 certification required.
- Solid understanding of building and construction law and safety regulations.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including MS Project.
- Experienced in project scheduling and critical path analysis.
- Excellent communication and team leadership abilities.
- Strong financial skills with the ability to manage project budgets effectively.
