Key responsibilities for a Project Manager - Design Build Construction include:

  • Take full ownership of building and construction projects from pre-construction to closeout, ensuring quality, schedule, and budget goals are met or exceeded.
  • Manage estimating, bidding, value engineering, and scheduling in collaboration with Superintendents.
  • Maintain clear communication with clients and project teams regarding schedule changes and progress.
  • Oversee subcontractor selection, scope control, and timely payment processing with Accounting.
  • Handle change order management and client communication.
  • Lead project kick-offs and enforce safety standards on-site.
  • Track Los Angeles project financials and overall progress.
  • Prepare preliminary pricing estimates and manage bidding processes.
  • Host OAC meetings and coordinate with subcontractors and vendors.
  • Train, develop, and conduct performance reviews for support staff.

An ideal candidate for the Project Manager - Design Build Construction position will have:

  • 5 to 10 years of progressive experience in Project Management, preferably in Los Angeles
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or a related field.
  • CPR and First Aid certified.
  • OSHA 10 certification required.
  • Solid understanding of building and construction law and safety regulations.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including MS Project.
  • Experienced in project scheduling and critical path analysis.
  • Excellent communication and team leadership abilities.
  • Strong financial skills with the ability to manage project budgets effectively.
