Description
The Project Manager - Healthcare Construction will be responsible for:
Overall Project Management: Responsible for managing healthcare construction projects from initiation to closeout, ensuring completion on time, within budget, safely, and with quality.
Relationship Management: Cultivate strong relationships with owners, architects, and subcontractors.
Financial Oversight: Manage project budget, cost expenditures, forecasts, cash flow, and billing processes to ensure profitability.
Schedule & Risk Management: Develop and maintain project schedules, identifying and mitigating key risks.
Contractual Compliance: Understand, review, and manage all contractual obligations, permitting, and insurances.
Quality & Safety: Oversee Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC) and ensure high safety standards.
Documentation & Reporting: Manage project documentation and provide accurate monthly project reviews and status reports.
Procurement & Change Management: Handle submittals, RFIs, procurement, buyout, and change orders.
Team Leadership: Lead, assess, and foster the development of project staff.
Project Closeout: Manage all closeout activities, including punch lists, final sign-offs, and warranty period
Profile
The Project Manager - Healthcare Construction is responsible for:
Experienced: 6+ years in commercial construction management, with at least 2 years leading teams
Educated: Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field, or equivalent experience.
Tech-Savvy: 3+ years with construction software, proficient in MS Excel, Word, Outlook.
Leader: Excellent management and leadership skills.
Communicator: Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication.
Strategist: Comprehensive understanding of critical path scheduling and project documents.
Problem-Solver: Advanced analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Resilient: Handles tight deadlines and stressful situations effectively.
Collaborative & Independent: Works well both autonomously and in a team.
Certified (or trainable): Holds (or willing to get) CPR, First Aid, and OSHA 10 certifications.
