Project Superintendent Responsibilities
As Project Superintendent, you will play a key role in overseeing our general construction initiatives, including concrete, site civil, and utility work. Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Operational Leadership: Plan, coordinate, and direct operational activities, leading improvement initiatives and driving change.
- Field Operations Management: Plan and supervise daily construction activities, ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards in collaboration with project team members.
- Compliance and Quality: Coordinate with engineers and subcontractors to ensure construction meets project specifications. Facilitate inspections, secure necessary permits, and maintain a compliant, organized job site.
- Project Scheduling: Manage timelines, develop short-term schedules, and track progress, reporting regularly on project status.
- Project Coordination: Assist in field management by maintaining close working relationships with clients and other stakeholders.
- Risk Management: Engage in proactive risk management and problem-solving, adapting quickly to evolving challenges.
- Business Development Support: Support business development efforts as needed to contribute to company growth.

What You Bring
- 10+ years of hands-on field supervision experience in heavy civil construction.
- Understanding of various construction means and methods, and equipment.
- Ability to operate typical construction equipment is desired but not required.
- Valid drivers license and willingness to travel, particularly on the East Coast.
- Proven reliability, knowledge, and accountability in infrastructure construction.
- Ability to manage multiple project assignments efficiently.
