We are looking for a Purchasing Manager to lead and oversee all procurement operations that drive the success of our residential construction projects. This is a key position that requires a proactive, highly organized individual who can manage vendor relationships, control costs, and ensure timely delivery of materials to meet project demands.

Responsibilities
Oversee the full purchasing lifecycle, from procurement planning to order fulfillment and inventory tracking.
Manage vendor relationships and negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery schedules to align with project timelines and budgets.
Review and issue purchase orders, track material deliveries, and resolve discrepancies or delays.
Monito and maintain accurate inventory levels, material availability, and delivery timelines.
Work closely with project managers, field staff, and accounting to coordinate material needs and budget alignment.
Maintain and update material take-offs and POs.
Prepare reports on purchasing performance, material costs, and supplier performance.
Lead continuous improvement efforts in procurement processes and cost savings initiatives.
Requirements
1-3 years of experience in buyer/planner/material scheduler role (construction industry)
Strong understanding of construction materials, inventory control, and vendor negotiations.
Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially in Excel
Excellent organizational, analytical and communication skills.
High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities with urgency
Bilingual in English and Spanish,
