Type: Direct Hire Salary: $125,000 - $160,000 / yr Skills and Experience: The Quality Control Manager provides leadership, coordination, guidance, and technical expertise in all areas of quality. The QCM is responsible for the overall daily operations of quality, developing and administering quality policies, procedures, and initiatives to ensure consistent adherence across the project. Requirements: In-depth knowledge of Construction Standards and Best Practices Working knowledge of the International Building Code and experience with diverse project types Ability to delegate tasks and supervise performance Excellent analytical skills Highly organized and systematic in thinking and processes Computer skills: Procore, Viewpoint, SharePoint, MS Office Associate or bachelor's degree in Quality Management, Construction Management, Engineering, or related field Minimum of 6 years of construction experience as a Quality Control Manager Essential Job Duties: Collaborate with Project Managers, Superintendents, and subcontractors to develop processes ensuring 100% compliance and exceeding expectations Maintain active relationships with engineers, consultants, and industry associations Assist teams in developing project-specific quality management plans Support and monitor adherence to quality plans Create and maintain system templates for DFOW activities Prepare DFOW for projects as per Quality Management Plan Participate in project meetings Conduct site visits and inspections Assist with plan and constructability reviews Review specifications, codes, standards, and contract drawings Provide training on quality risks and conduct risk prevention planning Utilize technological advancements to support operational excellence Independently act as CQCM, coordinating QC functions without delaying schedules Document deficiencies and ensure timely corrections (NCR Log) Maintain records of quality control activities and tests Identify and resolve problems promptly, analyzing information and developing solutions Review shop drawings and submittals for compliance Initiate and oversee Three Phase Inspection process, documenting all results Conduct and chair preparatory and weekly QC meetings with stakeholders Verify and document compliance of project submissions and materials Oversee QC/QA reports to ensure standards are met Key Markets: High-rise structures including condominiums, apartments, and office buildings Retail Industrial manufacturing Federal & military construction Gaming and entertainment Hospitality
