Regional Discipline Leader

Colliers Engineering & Design is seeking a Regional Discipline Leader who will be responsible for the professional, technical, management, marketing, administrative and financial aspects of our Construction Engineering & Inspection Discipline in Florida. This individual will direct and manage Geographic Discipline Leaders within the region. Responsibilities include providing leadership, managerial direction and guidance for the region to achieve established goals. The role also directs overall productivity, profitability, client satisfaction and quality of work. The Regional Discipline Leader is responsible for discipline marketing and business development, actively involved in the cross selling of all company services, and is responsible for billings and collections. They work with the geographic discipline leaders on resource sharing and staffing needs, and are responsible for regional training and staff procurement and development. The position requires monitoring staff utilization regularly and taking corrective action if necessary. Compliance with and ensuring others compliance with all CED policies and procedures, including but not limited to the Health and Safety Program, is also required. The individual will travel regularly to the various regions and offices and has the ability to procure and maintain business with FDOT Districts, Water/Wastewater Districts, CFX, GMA, Counties, Cities and Municipalities.

Qualifications include 20+ years of transportation construction experience. A valid US Driver's License is required, along with a Bachelor's Degree in a related field (Construction Management or Civil Engineering). Prior FDOT experience is required, as is experience managing teams. Leadership skills and decisive decision making are essential, along with comfort using computers and adapting to software. The ability to work outdoors on a project site for extended periods, strong mathematics skills, great communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to read, write and understand English for purposes of comprehending written job-related communications and verbal instructions and interactions are also required.
