THE ROLE
An exceptional opportunity is available for a Territory Sales or Project Management professional with a mechanical background, located in the Northeast. The ideal candidate will have a solid history of building relationships across industries such as data centers, semiconductor companies, pharmaceutical firms, universities, airports, hospitals, life sciences facilities, and EV battery manufacturing.
This role focuses on obtaining mechanical system specifications for major construction projects. Youll collaborate closely with facility planners, executives, and engineers, while also coordinating with internal teams to ensure project success.
Regular client interaction is key, including hosting meals, attending events, and organizing social engagements several times per week. The role includes both in-person and remote interactions, with up to 50% overnight travel required.
THE REQUIREMENTS
- A minimum of 7 years of experience in industrial territory sales or mechanical project management in a client-facing role
- Proven ability to develop strong relationships in sectors such as data centers, semiconductors, pharmaceuticals, academia, airports, healthcare, life sciences, or EV battery production
- Solid technical knowledge of mechanical systems and/or commercial HVAC
- Personable, outgoing, and highly motivated to network and cultivate relationships
- Bachelors degree required
- Must be based in New York City
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
- Target total compensation of $200,000 (base salary plus uncapped bi-annual commissions/bonuses)
