We are currently seeking a Construction Superintendent with a proven track record in high-end residential new construction to oversee the day-to-day field operations of a flagship luxury residential project.
Position Summary:
The Construction Superintendent will be responsible for managing on-site construction activities from groundbreaking to completion. This role requires a strong command of luxury building standards, superior project management skills, and the ability to lead subcontractors and trades in a high-end, fast-paced construction environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily on-site operations of a luxury residential construction project
- Ensure construction is completed on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards
- Coordinate and supervise all subcontractors, suppliers, and trades
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure work complies with architectural plans, specs, building codes, and safety standards
- Manage construction schedules, update project timelines, and track progress
- Proactively identify issues and implement solutions to avoid delays or cost overruns
- Enforce job site safety, cleanliness, and professionalism at all times
- Work closely with the project manager, architects, engineers, and ownership team to resolve field-related matters
- Maintain daily field reports and site documentation
- Lead quality control and punch list efforts to ensure a seamless project turnover
Qualifications:
- Minimum 7-10 years of experience as a Superintendent, including experience on ground-up luxury residential or mixed-use buildings
- Strong knowledge of all phases of residential construction, including concrete, MEP systems, finishes, faade work, and vertical transportation
- Excellent organizational and leadership skills
- Proficient in construction software platforms (Procore, Microsoft Project, Bluebeam, etc.)
- Strong communication skills and the ability to coordinate between office and field teams
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field preferred (not required)
- Ability to read and interpret architectural, structural, and MEP drawings
- High attention to detail, commitment to craftsmanship, and experience in luxury-level finishes and execution
