Job Description

Oversee daily construction operations on-site, ensuring projects are completed safely, on schedule, and within budget. Manage and coordinate subcontractors, vendors, and labor to maintain smooth workflow and high-quality workmanship. Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, enforce safety standards, and ensure compliance with plans and specifications. Collaborate closely with project managers, engineers, and clients to address issues, provide updates, and align expectations. Maintain detailed records of work progress, materials, manpower, and equipment usage. Proactively identify and resolve potential delays, risks, or conflicts to keep projects on track. Ensure job sites are organized, clean, and meet company and regulatory safety guidelines. Lead daily or weekly site meetings to communicate priorities, progress, and safety protocols.

The Successful Applicant

Minimum of 5 years' experience as a Superintendent in commercial construction, with a strong background in ground-up light industrial, retail, and municipal projects. Proven ability to manage complex construction sites, coordinating multiple subcontractors and trades effectively. Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams, enforce safety standards, and maintain high-quality workmanship. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with project managers, clients, and on-site personnel. Proactive problem-solver who anticipates challenges and implements practical solutions to keep projects on schedule. Detail-oriented with solid organizational skills to manage project documentation, schedules, and site logistics. Familiarity with construction safety regulations and a commitment to maintaining a safe work environment. Comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment and adapting to changing project needs.
