School-Based Occupational Therapist UP TO $3,500 SIGN ON BONUS $50-$58 per hour Position Summary: The position of School-Based Occupational Therapist provides coordinated Occupational therapy to school-aged children. They plan, implement, and evaluate students to provide appropriate fine motor and/or sensory integration skills. They evaluate occupational roles and occupational performance of students with physical and/or cognitive impairments. They provide interventions based on student deficits and they collaborate with the interdisciplinary team. Demonstrated ability to effectively prioritize time and meet deadlines. Ability to work under pressure. Ability to maintain confidentiality of data and information. Knowledge of therapy skills as defined as generally accepted standards of practice. Excellent communication – verbal and written, and interpersonal skills. Responsive to requests.
