Senior Accountant (Development & Construction) (Apogee Golf Course)

Responsibilities Related Ross is seeking a professional and driven Senior Accountant to join their team. The Senior Accountant will be responsible for all aspects of development accounting related to the construction of residential and commercial projects, initially supporting the Apogee Golf Course (Hobe Sound). Key responsibilities include: Review and analyze the general ledger, financial statements, and prepare appropriate accrual and adjusting journal entries in accordance with GAAP. Prepare detailed monthly, quarterly, and year-end work papers. Prepare monthly construction loan requisitions. Review and code contractor/vendor invoices, coordinate approval, monitor the loan budget, ensure timely funding, and oversee vendor payments. Assist in managing auditor engagements for annual audit reports. Provide timely and accurate information to owners, lenders, and partners. Ensure proper recording of all job cost transactions and reporting. Handle special projects as assigned by management. Qualifications Bachelors degree in Accounting. 3+ years of professional experience; CPA and public accounting experience are a plus. Ability to handle multiple tasks independently with attention to detail. Strong analytical skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel. Knowledge of JD Edwards, Textura, or Hubble software is a plus. Schedule 4 days onsite, 1 day remote.
