One of our clients are looking for an experienced Construction Accountant to join their team! The Senior Accountant will oversee general ledger accounting and construction accounting operations with an established, stable company.

Job Details

Accounting Operations Lead monthly close processes and oversee journal entries. Prepare financial statements and detailed work papers for all reporting periods. Manage year-end close and assist with audits.

Financial Analysis Reconcile trial balances, intercompany accounts, and balance sheet accounts. Investigate unusual fluctuations in job cost activity. Conduct variance analyses and ensure data accuracy.

Cross-Functional Collaboration Work closely with Project Accountants and partner directly with the Controller on special projects. Support audit preparation and execution with external stakeholders.

Professional Skills Thrive in fast-paced environments and independently manage multiple tasks. Show meticulous attention to detail and a proactive problem-solving approach.

Required: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance 5+ years of Accounting Experience; preferably in construction or related industry Job cost variance analysis and experience with Pay Applications and WIP schedules. Proficiency in MS Excel. Strong communication skills
