Job Description
The Senior Construction Manager will:
- Oversee all phases of construction, from pre-bid walkthroughs and subcontractor coordination to scheduling, supervision, and quality control, ensuring on-time and on-budget project delivery.
- Provide constructability and cost input during design, manage project cost forecasting, and deliver regular budget reports to stakeholders.
- Lead subcontract administration, including contract preparation, submittal review, and compliance with project specifications.
- Facilitate effective communication across project teams, including clients, subcontractors, engineers, and internal staff, to maintain project alignment and client satisfaction.
- Travel throughout the Rocky Mountain and Midwest regions as needed; manage project documentation and software per company standards.

The Successful Applicant
The Idea Senior Construction Manager will have:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, or a related field; equivalent experience may be considered
- 5-7 years of professional experience with a strong background in field operations and construction methods
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel to project sites as needed
- Solid understanding of the overall construction process; experience with ESCO design and commissioning is a plus
- Familiarity with mechanical and electrical systems in commercial and institutional buildings is preferred.
