The job entails overseeing the entire construction project lifecycle, from planning and design through to completion and handover. This includes coordinating and supervising subcontractors, vendors, and other project team members to ensure timely and quality delivery. Additionally, the role involves developing and managing project budgets, creating detailed project schedules, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, building codes, and environmental standards, and managing project risks. The successful applicant will also be responsible for reviewing and approving project plans, designs, and specifications, preparing and presenting project reports, and ensuring quality control throughout the construction process.

The Successful Applicant

Experience: 10+ years of experience in project management within the construction industry, with a solid understanding of construction processes.

Leadership: Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage teams and motivate others to meet project goals.

Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of interacting effectively with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams.

Problem-Solving: Ability to foresee potential issues and proactively implement solutions to keep projects on track.

Technical Skills: Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Procore, MS Project) and construction-related technologies.

Attention to Detail: Strong organizational and time-management skills with an eye for detail and quality.

Qualification: Relevant qualifications in construction management, engineering, or a related field; PMP certification is a plus.

Safety and Compliance: Knowledge of local building codes, safety regulations, and compliance standards.

Results-Driven: Demonstrated track record of successfully managing projects to completion, on time and within budget.
