About the Company - Midstate Mechanical LLC is a company that manages, oversees, plans, directs, coordinates, and administers various project management functions to ensure projects are delivered on-time and on-budget.
About the Role - The Senior Project Manager is responsible for managing, supervising, guiding, training, and mentoring assigned staff, conducting performance appraisals, participating in hiring decisions, and overseeing project details. This is an In-Office position, we do not offer a "Remote or Hybrid" schedule.
Responsibilities
- Manages, supervises, guides, trains, and mentors assigned staff
- Conducts performance appraisals
- Participates in hiring decisions
- Establishes and monitors employee goals, objectives, and project status
- Participates in sales, marketing, and the procurement process
- Represents Midstate Mechanical in assigned pre- and post-project activities
- Directs, oversees, and manages all staff assigned to manage project details
- Manages and monitors project budgets, costs, and expenditures
- Works with internal Company staff and departments on various tasks
- Reviews contracts, specifications, drawings, and other documents
- Prepares, reviews, analyzes, and presents billings and statements
- Coordinates staffing levels and schedules with crew management
- Attends job review meetings and provides input and information
- Monitors compliance with company and departmental policies
- Prepares and presents various reports
- Works on multiple projects and assignments
- Conducts site visits on a regular basis
Qualifications
- EDUCATION: Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred; High School Diploma or equivalent at a minimum.
- EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: 7 to 10 years of recent relevant experience as a Project Manager, Project Engineer, Field Manager, or closely related position.
- REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE: Knowledge of applicable Federal, state, county, and local statutes, rules, regulations, ordinances, codes, and other governing requirements.
