Position Overview

We are seeking a seasoned and dedicated Sr. Construction Project Manager to lead multifamily residential projects from start to finish. The first assignment is a 320-unit luxury apartment development in Knoxville, TN. This role is ideal for a team-oriented leader who thrives on mentoring junior staff and driving project excellence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead ground-up multifamily construction projects through full lifecycle execution
  • Mentor and support Assistant Project Managers and Project Engineers
  • Manage subcontractors and resolve field issues proactively
  • Oversee construction budgets and participate in pre-construction planning
  • Ensure adherence to project schedules, safety protocols, and quality standards
  • Travel monthly to job sites for oversight and team coordination (expenses covered)
  • Collaborate with developers, architects, and internal teams to align project goals

Required Qualifications

  • 58+ years of experience as a Project Manager in ground-up multifamily construction
  • Recent experience managing multifamily projects (150250 units preferred)
  • Proven full lifecycle project management (pre-construction to closeout)
  • Strong leadership and mentoring skills
  • Experience with budgeting and subcontractor coordination
  • Willingness to travel monthly to Knoxville, TN
  • Ability to work on-site in Indianapolis MondayFriday

Preferred Skills & Credentials

  • Familiarity with Procore and Microsoft Project
  • Experience in senior living, mixed-use, or podium construction
  • Degree in Construction Management
  • OSHA 30 certification and other safety credentials
  • Hands-on field experience

The pay range for this position is $130,000 $160,000 annually.
