Top Responsibilities
- Oversee full-cycle retail construction projects from design & permit through turnover across multiple U.S. markets.
- Manage GCs, vendors, architects, and consultants - ensuring quality, cost, and timeline control.
- Drive project schedules and proactively address delays, cost overruns, and scope changes.
- Manage construction budgets and generate regular financial reporting.
- Conduct regular site visits and ensure adherence to brand standards and local codes.
- Interface cross-functionally with legal, human resources and operations teams.
- Lead weekly OAC meetings and issue meeting minutes and action plans.
- Oversee punch list completion and project closeout documentation.
- Support Real Estate team by reviewing landlord lease work letters and ensuring plan coordination.
- Support continuous improvement of construction standards and processes.
- Utilize project management software and dashboards to track performance.
- Mentor and onboard junior level construction staff.
- Complete any additional responsibilities and/or duties as assigned.

Experience & Skills
- Experience:
- 7-10+ years in retail or franchise construction
- 6+ years managing multi-unit rollouts (ideally 10+ units/year)
- Experienced in interior fit-outs, remodels, & refresh project types
- Prior field experience or superintendent background a plus
- Technical Skills:
- Proficient in Monday.com
- Familiar with Procore, PlanGrid, or similar
- Strong Excel and budgeting/reporting skills
- Ability to read and understand architectural, structural, mechanical, plumbing, & electrical construction drawings and specifications
- Education / Certifications:
- Bachelor's in Construction Management, Engineering, or related
- PMP (preferred, not required)
