Senior Estimator - Commercial Construction A well respected general contracting firm in the Beloit/Rockford area is seeking a Senior Estimator to strengthen its preconstruction team. With a legacy of decades of serving the commercial, industrial, and institutional sectors, this firm is recognized for its design-build, construction management expertise. This position is ideal for an experienced Estimator who is passionate about delivering accurate, competitive, and timely cost projections—contributing to continued growth and client-focused project delivery. Key Responsibilities

Lead cost estimation and bid strategy for commercial and light-industrial projects Review blueprints, specifications, and scopes to quantify and price project elements. Conduct quantity take-offs, risk assessments, and scope validation. Solicit, evaluate, and compare subcontractor and supplier bids. Perform site visits and rigorous pre‑bid research. Collaborate closely with project managers and field teams to align estimates with delivery strategy. Maintain updated cost data, benchmark metrics, and support value engineering.

Qualifications

7–10 years of commercial estimating experience with ground-up and renovation projects. Expertise with take-off and estimating tools Deep knowledge of CSI divisions, building systems, and cost structures. Proven relationships with local subcontractors, architects, and vendors Exceptional attention to detail, organization, and verbal/written communication skills. Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred.
