Senior Field Engineer/Inspector - Construction Materials Testing

Our client is seeking an experienced Field Engineer/Inspector with ACI Certification to perform inspections and testing services for various construction materials, including soils, foundations, structural masonry, fireproofing, reinforced concrete, and post-tensioned concrete.
About the Role:
- Conduct inspections and perform testing on construction materials, including soils, asphalt, concrete, masonry, and fireproofing.
- Review civil and structural plans to ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Utilize testing methods and equipment following ASTM, ACI, AASHTO, DOT, and other relevant standards.
- Provide clear, concise reports on test results and inspections.
- Use field data collection software and Microsoft Word to document findings.
- Communicate effectively with clients, engineers, and project teams.
- 5+ years of experience in inspections and construction testing (soils, asphalt, concrete, masonry).
- ACI Field Level 1 Certification (required for concrete testing).
- At least one ICC Certification (ICC Soils, ICC Reinforced Concrete, ICC Structural Masonry, ICC Spray-Applied Fireproofing, or ICC Structural Steel and Bolting).
- Knowledge of testing and inspection methods, and industry standards like ASTM, ACI, AASHTO, and DOT.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Valid Driver's License.
- Proficiency in using computers (Word) and field data collection software.
- Additional certifications from nationally recognized organizations (CWI, NICET, PTI Level I or II) are a plus but not required.

- Pay Rate: $26.00 - $32.00 per hour based on experience
