About the Team:

The Construction Design & Delivery team is at the core of Relativity's growth and development. Through our collaboration and expertise, we deliver projects that lay the foundation for Relativity's future success. In essence, 'we build the factory that builds the rockets! We are responsible for cross functional relationships with teams such as Manufacturing, Propulsion, PBF, Avionics, Machine Shop, Facilities, EHS and Security to name a few, working through design specifications and execution of critical infrastructure projects that supports the mission of work centers. Our relationships don't stop there, working daily with government agencies, utility suppliers, vendors and contractors who support our factory build out. Our team ensures that all projects meet operational requirements, safety and environmental codes, all the while remaining within budget, delivering on time, and to the highest quality as we help to drive production forward.

About the Role:

  • Lead end-to-end field execution for complex capital and tenant improvement projects, owning the construction lifecycle from permit handoff through final turnover
  • Drive cross-functional coordination across Manufacturing, Facilities, Design, Legal, and Executive Leadership, serving as the central point of alignment
  • Manage and develop a high-performing team of Superintendents, Project Managers, and Controls staff, with a focus on training, onboarding, and long-term growth
  • Own large-scale construction budgets and capital POs, presenting justifications and performance updates directly to senior leadership
  • Standardize field operations by building and refining construction playbooks, governance processes, and digital execution tools
  • Influence long-term strategy by partnering with Design and Real Estate leaders to align capital planning with project phasing, permitting, and execution scalability

About You:

  • You are a hands-on, execution-driven leader who thrives in high-stakes, fast-paced environments
  • You have 12+ years of experience managing capital construction projects with field leadership responsibilities
  • You bring deep expertise in contractor management, construction sequencing, and cross-functional site coordination
  • You're fluent in budget controls, PO strategy, and schedule forecasting—and comfortable presenting to executive leadership
  • You've built and led high-performing teams and are passionate about developing talent and scaling capability. You are process-oriented and proactive, with a strong bias for action, clarity, and continuous improvement

Nice to haves but not required:

  • You're an execution-first leader with a proven track record delivering complex capital projects in fast-paced environments
  • You have deep experience managing field teams, general contractors, and cross-functional partners through all phases of construction
  • You're comfortable owning budgets, driving schedule accountability, and presenting risks and performance to executive leadership
  • You lead with clarity and urgency, building systems and teams that thrive under pressure and deliver with discipline

Hiring Range:
$183,000—$198,900 USD
