We are hiring for a Senior OCONUS Hazardous Area Construction Manager with an active TS / SCI clearance and Full Scope Polygraph to support our government customer at assigned OCONUS locations. This position is required to be onsite. This position requires an active DoD TS / SCI clearance with the ability to obtain and maintain a Full Scope Polygraph. The Senior OCONUS Hazardous Area Construction Manager / Project Manager-Sr (OCONUS CM / PM-Sr) leads and supervises a multi-disciplinary team including subject matter experts, HVAC technicians, tradespeople, and support personnel. The OCONUS CM / PM advises the customer on all aspects of project planning, design-build, construction, project deactivation, and supporting site operations and maintenance (O&M), including workforce mobilization and demobilization. The role involves developing construction documents, evaluating bids, reviewing shop drawings, conducting site inspections, managing project modifications, and validating work for payments, ensuring projects are on-budget, on-time, within scope, and meet quality standards. Responsibilities Provide CM / PM services for high and elevated risk OCONUS areas. Manage multiple projects simultaneously, adjusting priorities as needed. Coordinate with third-party construction firms to ensure project success. Coordinate construction activities across disciplines and manage the Integrated Project Team (IPT). Provide weekly project status reports. Oversee site development, concrete construction, electrical systems, and building systems. Assist in all project phases, including planning, design, construction, O&M, and deactivation, ensuring adherence to SOW, schedules, and budgets. Maintain detailed project logs, document activities, and communicate regularly with the customer. Review drawings, conduct site surveys, oversee contractors, and facilitate final project acceptance. Coordinate with all government stakeholders. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in any field or equivalent experience (high school/vocational diploma + 5 years). 10+ years of overseas construction management experience. At least 1 year of OCONUS experience with local contractors and labor forces. 6 months of experience working in a government-designated war zone. Working Environment U.S. citizenship required. Active TS / SCI clearance with Full Scope Polygraph required. Work in operationally sensitive environments, outdoors, in confined spaces, and under various conditions, including irregular and rotating shifts. Operate standard office and site equipment. Ability to work independently and in teams. Successful completion of medical, psychological, polygraph, and background checks may be required.
