The Opportunity: Zenobe seeks an experienced Senior Procurement Manager to support the delivery of its first US-based BESS assets (100MW+). The role involves developing procurement and contract strategies, sourcing, and negotiating contracts with EPCs and BOP providers, especially in NYISO, PJM, and ISO-NE markets. The candidate will work closely with US and London teams to support multiple projects and business needs. Responsibilities: Lead procurement activities for US BESS construction projects Engage with local EPC and BOP providers for project contracting Develop procurement and contract strategies for competitive RFPs and offtake agreements Create cost estimates for early-stage and developing markets Negotiate supplier contracts across multiple categories Support procurement process improvements and contractual documentation updates Build strong relationships with contractors and stakeholders Support contract management and reporting functions Health and Safety: Contribute to Zenobe's commitment to safety, wellbeing, and sustainability by integrating these principles into daily responsibilities, ensuring a safe work environment, and promoting sustainable practices. Experience Required: 5+ years in procurement management, preferably in energy storage or renewables construction Strong network of EPCs and BOPs in NYISO, PJM, and ISO-NE Experience with multi-contracting project management for BESS, HV, EPC/BOP Proficient in contract management, sourcing, negotiation, and cost control Passion for renewable energy Ability to collaborate across functions (legal, engineering, finance) Experience developing procurement processes Compensation (Illinois / NYC): USD$160,000 - USD$185,000 annually, plus bonuses and benefits.
