Your role as a Senior Project Engineer (Construction)
Key responsibilities:
Salary
$115,000 - $135,000 plus bonus
As a Senior Project Engineer you are responsible for managing the design and engineering of NewCold warehouse development projects.
You will be:
Managing the development, implementation, and evaluation of complex designs.
Overseeing construction and commissioning from a design perspective to ensure completion of projects as efficiently and effectively as possible
Evaluating and improving the changes that substantially impact the scope, budget or schedule of a project
Monitoring the engineering process based on quality and Total Cost of Ownership
Monitor compliance to applicable codes, practices, QA/QC policies, performance standards and specifications
Providing input regarding project outcomes and resolving escalated issues arising from operations in coordination with other departments
Giving engineering Life-cycle support to built-up warehouses
Proactive in knowledge sharing with your peers and using your knowledge to achieve the department goals
Providing support to Business Development initiatives

Who we are looking for:
We are seeking motivated and forward-thinking individuals who thrive incollaborative and fast-moving environments. Our ideal candidate has:
B.S. in Civil, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, Masters Degree preferred
At least 7+ years of project experience in logistics real estate
Experience in coordinating with internal and external engineering teams
Living in the Chicago metropolitan area and able to work from our Chicago office
Comfortable working in an international and dynamic work environment
