Job Description

Compensation & Benefits
Estimated Starting Salary Range: $110,000 - $115,000 per year.
Pay is commensurate with experience. Full-time benefits include Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K, and others, subject to change.
Healthcare Construction Lead Responsibilities Include:
Lead planning and execution of Integrated Design and Initial Outfitting & Transition (iDBIO) projects in coordination with DHA/FE.
Support development of Master/Facility Plans for long-term forecasting and funding.
Maintain documentation and metrics to support MILCON and SRM goals.
Contribute to Phasing Plan development, ensuring alignment of schedules and design studies.
Review environmental documentation and provide recommendations.
Assist in contract preparation for demolition and environmental remediation.
Validate project designs for compliance with environmental, LEED, code, and performance standards.
Participate in all project phases, identify issues, and communicate effectively.
Review construction contract documents and ensure compliance with testing procedures.
Support translation of project scope into PRDs and respond to bidder inquiries.
Coordinate RFI responses during design and construction.
Facilitate project milestone meetings.
Monitor project status, evaluate performance, and produce reports.
Oversee system testing, commissioning, and inspections.
Conduct site surveys to ensure design and operational functionality.
Perform quality assurance reviews of deliverables.
Assist in training and process documentation.
Apply critical thinking to review design data and construction plans.
Support scope development, cost estimating, and project documentation.
Ensure integration of healthcare design data and compliance with standards.
Demonstrate leadership and manage multidisciplinary teams.
Manage multiple projects and resolve conflicts across stakeholders.
Ensure facility plans meet compliance standards.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Experience, Education, Skills, Abilities:
Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Facilities, Engineering, or Architecture, with 8+ years in project management and healthcare facility design; or 10+ years of relevant practical experience.
Active certification or fellowship from recognized programs (e.g., PMI, NCEES, AIC, CMAA, Health Facilities Institute, ASHE).
Must pass pre-employment qualifications.
