Senior Project Manager Commercial Construction St. Louis

My client is a St. Louis based development firm with projects in Education (K-12), Commercial, Retail, Municipal, Healthcare, Manufacturing/Warehousing, Senior Living, Special Projects Division. Their projects can range upwards of $50M in scope, with some as high as $10M. They take part in early phases of the construction process for their clients to maximize the value and quality of projects. Their focus on innovation over 100+ years in business has allowed them to continue their steady growth, resulting in multiple needs within their business. They are developing projects locally in the great St. Louis area and are looking to add a Senior Project Manager to handle the team and build lasting relationships with their current and prospective clients.

Job Description

Overseeing and managing multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring that they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the satisfaction of stakeholders.

Developing project plans, defining project scope, goals, and deliverables, and identifying required resources and budget.

Leading project teams, assigning tasks, monitoring progress, and providing guidance and support as needed.

Identifying, assessing, and managing project risks, and developing contingency plans to mitigate potential issues.

Communicating project progress, risks, and issues to stakeholders, including senior management, clients, and team members.

Developing and maintaining relationships with clients, ensuring that their needs and expectations are understood and met.

Continuously improving project management processes, tools, and methodologies, and mentoring and coaching junior project managers to improve their skills and performance.

Coordinate with the on site teams, General Contractor, subcontractors, etc.

Travel to job sites as needed.

The Successful Applicant

10-15+ years experience in the construction industry working in a Project Manager capacity

Experience with a general contractor

Bachelor's degree required (construction related degree preferred)

Experience with projects $40M - $50M+

7+ years of lead Project Management

Must have ground up experience

Ability to build a schedule

Prior demonstrated leadership capacities

Ability to motivate self and others - can handle themselves well

Positive energy on and off-site

Base salary of $120,000 - $160,000 dependent on experience
