Manages: Project Manager(s), Assistant Project Manager(s), and Project Coordinator(s)
Summary/Objective: The Senior Project Manager plans, executes, and manages project teams, with responsibility for schedule, budget, quality, and client satisfaction. Typically manages 2-5 projects simultaneously, ranging from $1-20 million, across various construction phases.
Primary Responsibilities:
Coordinate daily project activities.
Communicate with subcontractors, team members, clients, owners, and suppliers.
Plan project deliverables and identify potential issues.
Minimize risks to the company and clients.
Create and update detailed project schedules.
Prepare Schedule of Values (SOV)/Billing Schedule.
Manage mockups, drafting, fabrication, and installation as required.
Chair production and installation planning meetings.
Monitor progress with drafting and engineering firms.
Manage project budgets and costs.
Coordinate submittal reviews and approvals.
Visit construction sites for staging, safety, and progress verification.
Manage project close-out and quality control.
Oversee safety compliance and perform pay applications.
Manage change orders and project documentation.
Communicate project status professionally to clients.
Manage punch lists, submittals, and transmittals.
Coordinate with sales on change orders.
Review daily reports and prospect for new change orders.
Conduct weekly reviews with team members.
Required Skills/Attributes:

Experience & Education:
10+ years in commercial construction management.
3+ years experience with metal and glass stairs.
Bachelor's degree or higher.
Proficiency in scheduling software, Excel, Word, Outlook.
Ability to read blueprints.
Strong work ethic and ability to delegate.
Experience in designing or building feature staircases.
Certifications/Licenses:
OSHA 30 (or obtain within six months).
CAPM or PMP certification.
Position KPIs:
Maintain safety standards.
Meet project milestones and schedule.
Maintain or improve profit margins.
Ensure high quality with minimal punchlists.
Keep project management systems updated in real-time.
Work Environment & Physical Demands: The role involves office work, site visits, and exposure to construction environments. Physical activities include sitting, lifting up to 15 pounds, and site mobility.
