A Day in the Life

Manage project aspects including estimating, scheduling, quality control, progress reports, billing, design review, coordination, cost reporting, safety, and proposal preparation

Ensure accurate and complete project estimates

Collaborate with owners and design team on preliminary drawings

Participate in proposal meetings to review scope, reduce costs, and suggest value engineering

Oversee buyout process and subcontractor selection

Conduct biweekly jobsite meetings

Evaluate project processes to ensure quality

Use customer feedback for continuous improvement

Act with integrity, supporting company values and team goals

Mentor or oversee Project Managers

Necessary Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field with a minimum 3.0 GPA

8-10 years of proven design/build experience with a general contractor

Estimation experience required

Proficiency in Word, Excel, Outlook, and Procore
