THE POSITION: At STACK, the Senior Project Manager partners with the Construction Project Director to coordinate communications with contractors and vendors, managing the day-to-day activities of a data center construction project. Success in this role requires strategic thinking, quick action, and exceptional communication skills. You should be a master problem-solver, influential, organized, detail-oriented, and eager to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment. The role offers an excellent opportunity to gain experience in the Data Center Construction business. In this role, you will: Assist with organizing project plans, including budgets, schedules, and timelines. Assist with RFPs to contractors; organize and control project documentation from RFP to closeout. Manage financial aspects of contracts to protect the company's interests. Represent the company in project meetings. Act as a key liaison with managers across departments. Responsibilities: Site observation, QA/QC, problem solving, and work evaluation. Ensure safety practices are incorporated into all aspects of design and construction. Oversee design, permits, and entitlements phases. Review and analyze construction schedules and update the project team’s Owner Schedule. Drive issues to resolution, oversee commissioning activities, and report on project data. Utilize the Business Case Budget for initial owner budgets. Support GC contract administration and negotiate change orders. Manage client relations and lead, mentor, and develop team members. Prepare and present project data and reports to executive audiences. Collaborate with other teams and lead project meetings. Required Skills, Education, and Experience: 5-10 years in Construction or related fields. Experience in ground-up, core & shell, sitework, utility, and fitout construction preferred. Four-year degree in related field preferred but not required. Proficiency with relevant software platforms and tools. Strong organizational, communication, and technical knowledge. Other Details: Location: Must reside near one of the major market sites. Onsite/WFH: Onsite 5 days/week. Travel: Occasional domestic travel.
