EPC Services Company, a leading power/utility engineering consultant and construction firm, has immediate openings for full-time Senior Project Managers in our Tacoma, WA office. Consideration for a remote-work arrangement will be based on a candidate's level of industry experience in Project Management.

Job Overview This position is a senior professional project management role for individuals with advanced skills related to the strategic planning and management of the construction for electrical power, communications, and industrial facilities, including civil, structural, and mechanical disciplines. A senior project manager is a key resource to general and executive managers, providing insight and counsel on high-level business management decisions.

Responsibilities

Lead and manage EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) turnkey projects.

Program management for large clients.

General project management, including financials, bidding, safety, and field support.

Mentoring and training of Project Managers and Assistant Project Managers.

Coordinate with various disciplines and teams to ensure project success.

Occasional travel for project monitoring and control.

Minimum Requirements

Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Engineering Technology, or Construction Management.

At least 10 years of project management experience with complex projects in transmission line or substation construction, or a combination of education and experience with high-voltage electrical systems.

Experience with electrical design of substations/switchyards is a plus.

Excellent organizational, written, and verbal communication skills.

Proficiency with Microsoft Excel; experience with Vista (Viewpoint) software is a plus.

Ability to pass all drug and background checks mandated by the company and clients.

Occasional travel/driving required; must meet auto insurance requirements.
