This person will manage large-scale electrical construction projects for data centers. This a permanent position with a world-class company. Position Summary: We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead the planning, execution, and delivery of large-scale data center electrical construction projects. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing complex, high-value electrical infrastructure projects with a strong emphasis on cost control, scheduling, safety, and quality. This is a leadership role requiring strong technical knowledge, strategic foresight, and exceptional communication skills to coordinate stakeholders and drive results. Key Responsibilities: Lead end-to-end project management of multi-million-dollar data center electrical construction projects. Coordinate and communicate with internal teams, clients, general contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure project goals are met. Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, budgets, and forecasts using project management software (e.g., Primavera P6, MS Project). Oversee procurement, equipment/material deliveries, and manpower planning. Identify and manage project risks, change orders, and conflicts while ensuring resolution aligns with contractual obligations. Ensure strict adherence to all safety policies and procedures, promoting a culture of safety throughout the project lifecycle. Maintain project documentation, reports, RFIs, submittals, and compliance with specifications and standards. Review engineering drawings and specifications, ensuring constructability and code compliance. Provide leadership and mentorship to project engineers, assistant project managers, and field supervisors. Regularly report project status to senior management, including financial performance, scheduling updates, and risk assessments. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field (required). Minimum 8–10 years of progressive project management experience inthe electrical construction industry, with at least 5 years managing large-scale data center projects. Strong knowledge of NEC, NFPA, and local building codes. Proficient in construction project management software (e.g., Procore, Bluebeam, Primavera, AutoCAD). Exceptional leadership, negotiation, and communication skills. Proven ability to manage complex schedules and budgets effectively. PMP certification or equivalent is a plus. OSHA 30 certification preferred. Combination of office and field work, including active construction sites. May require travel to project locations as needed.
