Requisition Number : SRPRO004776 Posted: March 7, 2025 Employment Type: Full-Time Location: Houston, TX, USA and Broomall, PA, USA Job Summary The Sr. Project Manager is primarily responsible for providing overall direction and managing field projects of any size, risk, scope, and complexity, usually involving multiple craft disciplines. This role includes developing new business opportunities relative to specific clients or geographical areas and providing guidance to lower-level PMs on policies and procedures. Essential Functions: Actively supports the Company’s commitment to safety and its “Core Values.” Represents the Company with high moral standards while adhering to the Company’s “Code of Business Conduct and Ethics.” Initiates and maintains liaison with clients to facilitate construction activities. Represents the Company at bid meetings and project meetings as applicable. Establishes project objectives, policies, procedures, and performance standards. Plans, organizes, and staffs key field positions through operational department heads. Supervises on-site field supervision to ensure project compliance with design, budget, and schedule. Provides technical assistance and recommends construction methods and equipment. Responsible for profit/loss accountability for managed projects. Develops new business opportunities relative to specific clients or geographical areas. Additional responsibilities as required. Qualifications: 4-year degree in Engineering or Construction Management; or combination of equivalent education and 15 years job-related experience if no degree. Prior project management/P&L experience preferred; includes 10+ years supervisory experience in Heavy Industrial/EPC project work, preferably in a union environment. Experience working with union construction subcontractors is a plus. Project Management Certification from PMI preferred. Extensive understanding of corporate and industry practices, processes, and standards. Superior oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills; strong negotiation skills. Advanced knowledge of construction, design, finance, business development, and project management. Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, and project scheduling software. Proven track record of bringing projects in on time, within budget, and safely. Ability to manage heavy workloads with time-sensitive deadlines. Demonstrated dependability and self-motivation. Solid knowledge and understanding of financial statements and reports.
