Job Description
The Senior Project Manager will take full ownership of complex, large-scale tilt wall construction projects from preconstruction through final delivery, overseeing all phases with strategic leadership and technical expertise. This role requires a seasoned professional who can drive project execution while mentoring junior staff, managing high-level client relationships, and ensuring alignment across field operations, design teams, and subcontractors. With extensive experience in tilt wall systems and a proven ability to navigate tight schedules and budgets, the ideal candidate brings a proactive, solutions-oriented mindset and a commitment to delivering exceptional results on time, on budget, and to the highest standards of quality and safety. Key responsibilities include:
- Provide executive-level oversight of all phases of large-scale tilt wall construction projects from preconstruction through final closeout
- Lead the development and management of complex project budgets, master schedules, and strategic timelines to ensure optimal outcomes
- Drive coordination between field leadership, design professionals, ownership groups, and subcontractors to maintain alignment and momentum
- Perform high-level reviews of construction documents, contracts, and specifications, ensuring clarity, compliance, and risk mitigation
- Direct procurement strategy, vendor negotiations, and subcontractor selection to align with budget, timeline, and quality goals
- Analyze project performance metrics, anticipate challenges, and implement strategic solutions to maintain schedule and budget integrity
- Champion strict adherence to safety protocols, quality assurance standards, and company operating procedures across all project phases
- Oversee the management of critical project documentation including RFIs, submittals, change orders, and progress reports
- Serve as primary liaison for key stakeholders, providing transparent communication, status updates, and issue resolution
- Facilitate and lead high-level project meetings, jobsite walks, and executive briefings to assess progress and support field operations
- Manage closeout procedures, including commissioning, punch list resolution, final inspections, and complete turnover documentation

The Successful Applicant
In return for a competitive compensation package, the ideal candidate will possess the following:
- 10+ years of progressive experience managing large-scale ground-up tilt wall construction projects - essential
- Proven track record of delivering structurally complex, schedule-driven projects on time, within budget, and to high-quality standards - essential
- Exceptional leadership and communication skills with a demonstrated ability to lead multidisciplinary teams, mentor junior staff, and coordinate with subcontractors and stakeholders - essential
- Willingness and ability to travel to and work onsite daily at active job sites throughout the Greater Houston area - essential
- Expert-level knowledge of tilt wall construction methods, sequencing, and field coordination - preferred
- Proficient in construction safety standards, quality control procedures, and scheduling/project management tools such as Procore, MS Project, or Primavera - preferred
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field; advanced certifications or PMP designation - preferred
