Responsibilities:
Lead and oversee construction management activities for significant water and wastewater treatment plant projects, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in accordance with quality standards.
Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including engineers, designers, and contractors, to manage and monitor project progress, resolve issues, and ensure client satisfaction.
Serve as the main point of contact for clients, maintaining open lines of communication and addressing client needs and concerns throughout the project lifecycle.
Manage multiple water & wastewater infrastructure and treatment facility construction
Leverage your extensive business development experience to identify, pursue, and secure new project opportunities within the civil engineering industry, particularly with municipal clients in South Texas
Develop and execute effective business development strategies, leveraging your network and industry knowledge to expand our client base and drive revenue growth.
Lead the development of compelling proposals, presentations, and project updates, showcasing our capabilities and winning the confidence of clients.
Maintain a comprehensive understanding of industry trends, regulations, and best practices, guiding clients and internal teams with informed insights.
Foster a positive and collaborative team culture, leading by example and contributing to the overall success of the team.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field. (Master's degree is a plus)
Minimum of 15 years of experience in construction management of large-scale water and wastewater treatment plant projects for municipal or federal clients.
Experience building an Ultraviolet treatment (UV) or Reverse Osmosis (RO) or a Membrane Filtration Treatment plant as an owners representative or construction manager
Strong understanding of construction regulations, industry standards, and best practices within the water and wastewater treatment plant sector.
Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to manage cross-functional teams and foster collaborative working relationships.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills, enabling you to build and maintain strong client relationships and successfully navigate negotiations.
Proficiency in project management software and tools to facilitate efficient project tracking and reporting.
Strategic mindset with a proactive approach to identifying and capitalizing on new business opportunities.
Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving abilities.
