Role Description This is a full-time role for a Shop Foreman - Steel Construction (Fabrication & Erection) located in Spring Valley, CA. The Shop Foreman will oversee the daily operations of the steel fabrication shop, ensuring that all work meets high standards of quality and safety. The role includes supervising staff, Translating Blue Prints to Shop Drawings, Material Ordering/Nesting, coordinating projects, ensuring maintenance of heavy equipment, and maintaining effective communication with team members and clients.

Qualifications Supervisory Skills to effectively manage and coordinate a team Experience with Heavy Equipment and its maintenance Strong Communication skills for effective interaction with team members and clients Familiarity with AWS and Welding Certification a Plus Ability to Read Blue-Prints and be able to do shop drawings Experience in Maintenance tasks to ensure equipment and tools are in optimal condition Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field is a plus Strong problem-solving and organizational skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team
