The Site Superintendent is responsible for critical elements of construction management generally limited to the jobsite for assigned projects from pre-construction through project completion. The Site Superintendent collaborates directly with the Project Manager, Vendors, and Trade Partners to pace schedules throughout the lifecycle of the project, managing terms, conditions & expectations of work agreements (purchase orders). They maintain timely and effective communication with the Project Managers and Clients on jobsite related matters. This position may include 50% bags on carpentry work.. this is the place where a hard-working, go-getter can get training in some areas so lets have a conversation!

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- May be required to perform Carpentry work 50% bags on.
- Proactive problem-solving.

- Clear and regular communication with customers, supervisor, and staff.
- Completion of all necessary production reporting as required.
- Prompt attendance at all required staff and department meetings.
- Willingness to aggressively resolve conflicts and issues promptly and effectively with a win-win mindset.

- Be knowledgeable of all carpentry techniques related to residential construction and remodeling and/or be responsible to gain knowledge in areas lacking.
- Review and understanding of Oxland Builders Methods & Materials manual and be cognizant of necessary changes, additions, or omissions.
- A winning attitude in all circumstances.
- Post project status updates (job logs) and task progression percentage in Co-Construct at the end of each day.
- Post photos, as needed, but at a minimum bi-weekly, to inform production management and office staff of tangible progress.
- Meet "No Visible Defects" policy at the end of each work shift as defined in the Oxland Builders Production Policy Manual.
- Maintain a professional appearance and a professional, courteous and respectful demeanor and attitude on the job with other staff, clients and tradespeople.
- May be required to perform Carpentry work 50% bags on.
Qualifications
- Requires a minimum of 5 years experience in high end residential remodeling, degree in project management or equivalent demonstrated experience.
- High School Diploma required. Additional schooling within the construction field is highly desired.
- Residential remodeling experience including layout knowledge of foundations, framing, cabinets, interior finish packages, and working with subcontractors.
- Ability to interact and communicate well with clients, team members, vendors, and specialty trade contractors.
- In depth knowledge of construction principals and installation techniques.
- Able to perform carpentry duties that include light framing and finish work 50% of the time.
- Preferred knowledge and experience in JobTread construction software but will consider working knowledge of other construction software like Procore, BuilderTrend, CoConstruct, etc.
- Computer skills include but are not limited to: Microsoft Office Suite, Excel, and the Internet.
- Strong knowledge and understanding of the life cycle of a remodeling project required.
- Reliable, honest, and ethical as well as having the ability to manage with these core values is a must.
- Ability to demonstrate proper construction site safety skills.
- Ability to effectively use analytical and observation skills to accurately estimate and schedule projects.
- Position will require someone who is highly motivated, self-starter, detail-oriented, highly organized, and has a positive, can-do attitude.
- Proven track record working with all levels of the organization as well as clients.
- Maintain a valid drivers license and state-required insurance.
