***Permanent, full-time role with hourly pay plus per diem; required to be on assigned project site throughout duration, then the role will be assigned to the a subsequent project site which could be in any state within the U.S.***
Job Summary
The SOLAR Electrical Construction Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of solar / utility-scale electrical construction projects from start to finish. This role ensures that projects are completed on time, within budget, and in accordance with safety and quality standards. The Superintendent will lead site operations, coordinate with project teams, and serve as the primary point of contact for subcontractors and field staff.
Responsibilities
Manage daily field operations of electrical construction on solar farm projects.
Ensure adherence to project schedules and budgets.
Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders.
Oversee site safety, ensuring compliance with OSHA and company safety policies.
Coordinate and manage subcontractors and site personnel.
Inspect work for quality assurance and adherence to specifications.
Maintain project documentation and progress reports.
Address and resolve any site issues or project delays.
Ensure the proper use and maintenance of tools and equipment.
Conduct site meetings and provide regular project updates.
Work primarily on active construction sites
Exposure to varying weather conditions
Occasional travel may be required
Qualifications
5\+ years of experience in electrical construction management on solar / utility-scale renewable energy projects (solar farms).
Degree in construction management or electrical trade .
Proven leadership and team management skills
Strong knowledge of electrical systems, blueprints, and construction practices
Familiarity with safety regulations and quality control standards
Excellent communication and problem\-solving abilities
Ability to work in a fast\-paced, outdoor environment
Proficiency in project management software and MS Office Suite
