Senior Construction Project Manager

We're seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead construction and remodel projects for our clients retail locations across a designated region. This role involves managing projects from planning through completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and in alignment with client standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee new store construction, remodels, and special projects
  • Collaborate with internal teams (Real Estate, Operations, Program Management) and external partners (developers, architects, contractors)
  • Manage project scope, budgets, timelines, and documentation
  • Conduct site visits to monitor progress, ensure quality, and resolve issues
  • Represent CVS Health in meetings with city and state agencies
  • Lead project closeout, including punch list completion and final documentation

Project Lifecycle Involvement

  • Define project scope and budget; direct architects and engineers
  • Manage bidding process, contractor selection, and contract execution
  • Coordinate with internal departments for seamless project delivery
  • Oversee construction activities, site visits, and milestone reviews
  • Ensure timely delivery of materials, graphics, and technology
  • Maintain project schedules and documentation in MS Project and internal systems
  • Lead final walkthroughs and ensure all closeout procedures are completed

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • 58 years of relevant experience in construction project management
  • Strong understanding of design, construction standards, and cost management
  • Proven ability to manage large budgets and cross-functional teams
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Self-starter with strong initiative and problem-solving abilities

Additional Information

  • Travel may be required; reimbursed per client travel policy
  • Experience with vendor management, permitting, and ADA compliance is beneficial
