Overview The Sr. Director of Business Development is responsible for developing new business contacts, managing and maintaining existing customer relations, contacts, and sales in the fields of Oil & Gas, Power, Manufacturing, Cement, Mining.
Location This is a remote position, based anywhere in the U.S., supporting our business across the country. The role involves up to 50% travel to regional offices. It offers an annual incentive plan and vehicle allowance.

Responsibilities Essential Job Functions:
Identify, develop, and lead sales opportunities via industry research, client calls, media, site visits, and trade shows.
Build deep knowledge of and relationships with owners, developers, architects, and decision-makers in target markets.
Maintain a network of contacts and work closely with VPs, Estimating Directors, and Project Managers on leads.
Coordinate proposals, respond to RFPs, and develop a client database using Salesforce CRM.
Understand client goals and communicate effectively with estimating teams to submit competitive bids.
Establish marketing goals, manage budgets, and execute marketing plans to grow market share and profitability.
Travel regularly to client sites and manage, lead, and mentor direct reports.
Qualifications Education & Experience:
BS/BA in Marketing, Construction Management, or Business-related field.
Minimum of 10 years in direct marketing/sales of construction-related services preferred.
Skills & Abilities:
Knowledge of MIC health and safety programs and regulations.
Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Proficient in computer skills and CRM tools like Salesforce.
Ability to multitask, work independently, and perform under pressure.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Physical Demands Prolonged sitting at a desk and working on a computer; ability to lift up to 20 pounds.
Benefits & Compensation Salary: $175,000 - $230,000 annually, commensurate with experience. Includes performance reviews, bonuses, 401(k), ESPP, health insurance, paid time off, and other benefits.
