Account Manager For Enterprise Customers

The AWS Enterprise Team is responsible for leading customers through an accelerated and innovative cloud journey. As part of the AWS Sales team, you will have the opportunity to work alongside a motivated team that values diversified perspectives and ideas to equip customers with the most innovative solutions. This role will require you to scale a highly complex environment through strategic initiatives. As the Account Manager focused on Enterprise customers, you will have the opportunity to help drive growth and shape the future of cloud computing, while delivering innovative solutions leveraging the latest in AWS services. You will be responsible for developing opportunity pipelines, evangelizing cloud computing, and driving revenue and user adoption.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive revenue and market share in a defined territory or industry vertical
  • Meet or exceed quarterly revenue targets
  • Develop and execute against a comprehensive account/territory plan
  • Create & articulate compelling value propositions around AWS services
  • Accelerate customer adoption
  • Maintain a robust sales pipeline
  • Work with partners to extend reach & drive adoption
  • Manage contract negotiations
  • Develop long-term strategic relationships with key accounts
  • Ensure customer satisfaction

Basic Qualifications

- 7+ years of direct sales or business development in software, cloud or SaaS markets selling to C-level executives.

Preferred Qualifications

- 5+ years of building profitable partner ecosystems experience - Experience developing detailed go to market plans

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $128,600/year in our lowest geographic market up to $212,600/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
