Job Description

Oversee all field operations and on-site construction activities, ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, within budget, and to quality standards. Lead and coordinate subcontractors, field staff, and suppliers, maintaining daily schedules and enforcing project milestones. Serve as the primary on-site point of contact for project stakeholders, including owners, architects, engineers, and inspectors. Ensure strict adherence to safety regulations and company policies; actively lead site safety meetings and enforce compliance. Manage site logistics, including equipment, materials, deliveries, and manpower. Review drawings, specifications, and submittals to proactively identify and resolve potential conflicts or delays. Maintain daily reports, project documentation, and communicate project progress to the project manager and executive team. Mentor and supervise assistant superintendents, field engineers, and other site personnel to support professional development and project efficiency. Conduct quality control inspections to ensure compliance with design intent and building codes. Drive project success by fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and professionalism on the jobsite.

The Successful Applicant

5+ years of experience as a Lead Superintendent in the commercial construction industry. Experience with ground up projects required. Experience leading $30MM+ projects in Higher Education and K12 builds. Comfortable traveling across Georgia. Technical degree level education in construction or related field. Stable work record. Knowledge in Construction Management or related field required. Estimating experience required. Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.

Base salary range: $115,000 - $140,000 (Package is negotiable subject to experience). Company truck. Per diem. 401(k) with company match. Competitive healthcare package medical, dental and vision. PTO.
