Location : Anaheim Salary: $80,000 Monday - Friday Key Responsibilities: Design and analyze structural systems for residential and commercial projects, including foundations, framing, and load-bearing structures. Perform calculations and create detailed plans and specifications that comply with building codes and regulations. Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other engineering disciplines to develop integrated project solutions. Conduct site visits to assess existing structures, oversee construction progress, and ensure compliance with design specifications. Provide technical support during the permitting process and address review comments as needed. Utilize structural analysis and design software to prepare models and evaluate structural integrity. Prepare reports, presentations, and documentation for clients and stakeholders. Qualifications: Education: Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (Master's degree preferred). Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in structural engineering, with a focus on residential and commercial properties. Proficiency in structural design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, ETABS, or similar tools. Licenses/Certifications: Professional Engineer (PE) license is strongly preferred. EIT certification required if PE is not obtained. Strong knowledge of local and national building codes (e.g., IBC, ASCE). Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
Experience: AutoCAD: 3 years (Required)
License/Certification: Engineer In Training (Required) Someone with a PE License (Professional Engineer) or someone who is on their way of receiving the license
