THE ROLE YOU WILL PLAY:
Supervise total on-site effort to ensure projects are constructed in accordance with design, budget, schedule, safety, and quality.
•Interface with client representatives and other contractors.
•Plan and supervise craft foreman and subcontractors.
•Lead project meetings, provide direction to planning, scheduling, and engineering functions - mentor and develop field engineers.
•Streamline project timelines through planning and supervision of craft and subcontracting activities, covering construction methods, manpower, materials, equipment etc.
BACKGROUND PROFILE:
- 5 or more years' experience as a project superintendent with experience specific to Healthcare, Medical, Higher Education, Corporate/Commercial, Technology, or Life Science
- Experience in new construction, renovation and upfit projects as a lead superintendent with a per project value between $5M - $50M
- Experience with self-perform work which includes demolition, structural concrete, rough carpentry, doors/frames/hardware, drywall, ceilings, etc.
- History of bringing in projects on time and within budget
•Knowledge and experience in field supervision, quality control, scheduling, ordering,
